The Montclair Learning Center

10/16/19 - 12/04/19 (7 weeks)

This process art class speaks to your little artist’s creativity while he or she explores STEM concepts such as crystal formation, chromatography, or forces and motions. Children are exposed to different materials and mediums as they learn to use different elements of art, including lines, colors, shapes, textures, and forms in their unique creations. Themes may include: Architecture, where students will make their plans on paper and then build a house; Planet Earth, where children will learn about our planet and make a papier mache replica of Earth; Robotics, where students will be introduced to the basic mechanics and workings of robots and then create their very own robot out of household items; and Forces and Motion, where participants will make unique “pendulum paintings” after learning about this concept. No matter the theme or project, your children will be using their creativity and imagination to create STEM-based art! Projects will be taken home upon completion.

Ages: 3-5 years/Kindergarten
