If the siblings are registering for the same class, no coupon code is required.

LEAF Approach to Enrichments reserves the right to invoice parents for incorrectly entered coupon codes. For additional information, please email info@leafenrichment.com.

REGISTRATION POLICY
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All classes are subject to minimum and maximum enrollment and early registration is strongly encouraged.

Dr. Seuss STEM

We love Dr. Seuss books! Every week, we will pair one Dr. Seuss book with corresponding science experiments and/or engineering challenges. By measuring distance and speed, creating chemical reactions, or building structures, we will explore STEM through the eyes of the Cat in the Hat and other favorite Dr. Seuss characters.

Appropriate for Ages: 3-5 years, Kindergarten
Tuiton: $160.00

Engineering Challenges

Explore different areas of engineering every week through a variety of hands-on projects. Students will explore the areas of:

  • electrical engineering: build your own circuits and create your own musical instrument or remote controlled car;
  • civil engineering: build bridges, dams, and tunnels with different materials;
  • mechanical engineering: build machines such as a conveyor belt or a zip line.

Appropriate for Ages: 4-5 years, Kindergarten
Tuiton: $160.00

I Can Fly

Let’s explore force, motion, speed, and acceleration while we build our own ramps, race cars, kites, and planes. We will predict speed and distance using our own catapults. We will compare a variety of man-made creations to the way birds fly and make amazing discoveries about flight.

Appropriate for Ages: 3-5 years
Tuition: $160.00

Introduction to Instruments

Take a musical trip around the world! Students will ‘travel’ to a new country each week to learn about the many different musical traditions, styles, and instruments that can be found in our world.  Not only will students be exposed to a variety of styles of music, but they will also come to appreciate how music can be seen as a ‘universal language’ that we can all enjoy and understand. Come travel with us as we explore other cultures through the language of music.

Appropriate for Ages: 3-5 years, Kindergarten
Tuition: $160.00

Jurassic Land

Let’s travel back millions of years ago to the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth and learn all about dinosaurs! We will learn about the different types of dinosaurs (their differences and similarities), their eating habits, and their habitats. We will explore earth science to understand how earth has changed from the dinosaur days to today through shifting of lands or earthquakes and begin to understand why dinosaurs are now extinct. We will become paleontologists as we use our tools to dig up and identify the fossils and bones that were left behind. Finally, we will build own dinosaur out of everyday items.

Appropriate for Ages: 3-5 years
Tuition: $160.00

Karate

Karate is a sport that originates from stillness, calmness, and self-respect. This is a non-competitive sport that manages stress through breathing, awareness, and meditation. Participants will be able to move up in ranks (colored belts) based on their effort and progress. Through practice, students will demonstrate how creatively they can apply their well-honed skills.

Little Chefs

A fun hands on cooking experience that plants the seeds of healthy eating early on. We’ll expand your child’s taste buds by creating healthy and yummy recipes each week. Children will use all 5 senses to smell, touch, taste, look and listen during the culinary adventure. Classes emphasize a variety of skills including: kitchen safety, following directions, measuring, nutrition, and more.

A few things we will be making is, pasta salad with vinaigrette, hummus and bean dip with vegetables sticks, seasonal fruit salad with a yogurt sauce, energy balls, fruit and vegetable smoothies, banana ice cream, salsa, and apple donuts to name a few!

It is all cold cooking.  We do not use any nuts but dairy products will be used in some recipes but can be supplemented if needed.

STEM Around the World

In this class, students will explore the different continents and cultures of the World and discover how STEM stands out in the natural and manmade wonders of the world.
