Dynamic Dance

This is the one of the best physical programs we to offer to young children!  Dance is a no-contact sport that strengthens hand-eye coordination, increases flexibility, and combines music with a physical activity.  This program will help to alleviate fears related to performing in front of an audience, spark creativity in young children, and help them to develop an appreciation for the arts visual.  Children will work on developing a great range of motion, body awareness, balance, muscle strength, coordination, and endurance.  Movement patterns require the child to use his or her entire body to reach a level of fitness that is unparalleled by other activities.  Through dance classes, children begin to understand that the possibilities of movement are endless and fun to explore.

Every class begins with stretching, cardio, clapping our hands, and tapping our feet to a song.  After first dancing with scarves to strengthen hand-eye coordination, children then are introduced to a new dance move, followed by working on 2 different dances to be performed at the end of the 8 week program.
